Welcome to the Department of Family Medicine’s Chronic Pain Resource Center
Our team of experts has carefully curated this collection of resources to help our patients with chronic pain, their families and our providers who care for them. These include tools to help patients and their families to understand, monitor and manage their pain, as well as guidance on the safe use, storage and disposal of opioid medicines. It also includes education for families in the potentially life-saving role of preventing, identifying and treating medication overdose. For our providers, we have included relevant University guidelines and policies, EPIC workflow guidance, educational resources and opportunities, and tools and tips for helping our patients who suffer from chronic pain. We invite you to explore and learn.
